"Enarmoured" 2025 Oil on Canvas 20" x 20"                                                                    

 

"Enarmoured", is a cryptic portmanteau. In simple terms, it is an intentional blend of the words "armour" and "enamoured".

This artwork presents the dichotomy between wanting to love, but being scared to. Loving, but being scared of losing. Having lost, and being scared of loving again. 

Whether it be due to past experiences or whether it's first-time fear, this piece of mine explores the complexity of one of the most enduring themes in literature, art, life: love.
