Hi!

I'm Zoë O'Hare - a self-taught, Irish artist whose distinctive work is deeply rooted in what I have lived, learned and loved.

Painting is, for me, an act of emotional excavation.

Each piece begins with an emotion or memory I feel compelled to understand or resolve. Creating becomes a means of resolution, and completion then becomes a means of finding peace.

My subjects are invariably female, serving as both muse and mirror.

Colour is also an essential part of my visual language - more than an aesthetic choice, it serves the underlying concept of my paintings.

Though my art is derived from personal reflection, I hope it reaches further — resonating with all sensitive souls like mine.
