"Cherry-picking" 2025 Oil on 36cm diameter round canvas
This artwork at first appears playful - an exploration of desire made tangible in color and form. Beneath the surface, however, it carries a deeper, critical commentary on selective attention and omission.
Through vibrant color, tactile imagery, and conceptual depth, "Cherry-picking" references the logical fallacy of cherry-picking, where we focus on traits we find appealing whilst overlooking red, red flags.
